KH2 and Uzbekistan government draw up MOU to install WPP ENERGY hydrogen charging station (attended by government deputy prime minister and ministers)
KH2 (CEO Kim Si-eun) plans to install two national power plants in Varna, Bulgaria, with Uzbekistan's National Agency Project Management (NAPM), Tashikent, Syrdaria, at a mixed consumption rate of 8:2 hydrogen and natural gasIt said it had signed with Deputy Commissioner Lav Yuryevich Pak.
The agreement is to install and supply technologies and facilities to convert thermal power generation facilities developed by WPP Energy in Switzerland into hydrogen mixed power generation facilities, and Uzbekistan will be the first case in which KH2 (KPP Energy) advances its hydrogen power generation technologies and facilities overseas.
Dr. Odilkhuja PARPIEV, head of the Uzbekistan Institute of Science, said, "Uzbekistan is strongly pursuing for the implementation of the Paris Convention to reduce carbon, and plans to continue to expand eco-friendly power plants that use hydrogen as fuel in the mid- to long-term."
Attendees were attended by several scientists, including Uzbekistan's NAPM Commissioner (Vice-Prime Minister) Dmitry Lee, Vice Commissioner Vyacheslav Yuryevich Pak, and the Science Institute's representative Odilkhuja PARPIEV, while Korea KH2 was attended by Chairman Kim Min and CEO Kim Si-eun.
As a result, the supply of hydrogen power generation facilities in Uzbekistan by KH2 (KH2, former Korea H2 Alliance) is expected to continue to increase in the future. The hydrogen power plant to be constructed in Uzbekistan is a mixed fuel method that uses hydrogen fuel instead of 100% oil or gas fuel. It is a technology that produces hydrogen at the plant site by attaching and connecting the existing power plant to a power plant that is adapted to use hydrogen fuel.
Hydrogen experts agree that because of these innovative technological features, hydrogen generation is highly economical as it does not require the process of securing, transporting, and storing hydrogen, it is also highly likely to become a next-generation core eco-friendly power generation method by ensuring low carbon and low pollution by using mixed fuel. In particular, WPP Energy's hydrogen production technology is evaluated as a "dream technology" that can drastically lower the power generation cost of power generators because it has superior hydrogen production capacity compared to the existing water electrolysis method.
KH2 Chairman Kim Min said, "The entry into Uzbekistan is meaningful because KH2 (KH2) has passed the first button. "We want to speed up the progress with a number of national governments, including Cambodia, Nepal, Thailand, Indonesia, and Bangladesh, and KH2 will become a global hydrogen company and contribute as a watchman for the global environment where mankind will live."
